Dr. Ken Brough

Dr. Ken Brough is the CEO and Founder of CURAVITA Health Group. He is a visionary leader, dedicated to transforming the lives of the patients he and his team serve.  With over 33 years of experience, Dr. Brough is not just a chiropractor; he is the driving force behind the success and growth of CURAVITA and our Community of Care.

Dr. Brough’s journey in chiropractic care began in 1991 when he started practicing in a group setting on Carling Avenue in Ottawa. In 1994, he took a significant step by establishing and opening the Glebe Chiropractic Clinic. Over the years, he expanded the Clinic, adding talented chiropractors and massage therapists to the healthcare team. In 2009, he opened a second Clinic in the vibrant Ottawa Byward Market, offering chiropractic and massage therapy services. In 2018, he successfully rebranded both clinics as CURAVITA Health Group and in 2019, added physiotherapy to the healthcare services offered to our patients.

Dr. Brough holds a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic (Davenport, Iowa). Additionally, he is a Chartered Director (CDir) from the Degroote School of Business at McMaster University. His academic journey also includes a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics (Honours) from the University of Guelph.

Dr. Brough’s leadership extends beyond his Clinics. He became a Member of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Chiropractic Association (OCA) in 2008 and served as the Ontario Governor to the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA) from 2009 to 2018. His commitment is further exemplified by his role on the Steering Committee of the Canadian Chiropractic Guideline Initiative for four years. Dr. Brough’s dedication reached its pinnacle when he served as the President and Chair of the Board of the Ontario Chiropractic Association from 2018 to 2022.

In recognition of his exceptional service to the chiropractic profession, Dr. Brough was honored with the Ontario Chiropractic Association’s prestigious “Chiropractor of the Year” Award in 2022.

In November, 2024, Dr. Brough was appointed as the new Chair of the Board of Directors of Aspire. Aspire, a subsidiary of the Ontario Chiropractic Association (OCA), is a practice management software designed by chiropractors for chiropractors and other health care professionals. It offers online booking, billing and electronic health records to reduce administrative work and improve patient care.

With over 34 years of hands-on experience, Dr. Brough is certified in the Thompson Technique, showcasing his commitment to providing specialized and effective chiropractic care. In addition, he offers Diversified, Activator, Webster and Gonstead within his family-based practice.
